Performers plus pints

Performers & Pints – run by professional musician and recording artist Will Mak and his team – returns to the town at a new venue.

The upstairs function room at the Rising Sun will be the new location for the event, which will include performances from Roxy Searle, Ollie and Will, Minnie Birch and Karmadillo.

The doors open at 8pm for an 8.30pm start.

Over in Biggleswade, the Red Lion pub’s Battle of the Bands contest will continue tonight (Friday).

Rhys Kirkman, March XVIII and the Ivory Collective will be the acts on stage.

Then tomorrow night Khorosho will be playing at the pub from 9pm.

Five-piece rock covers act Rockophony will be performing at Potton & District Club tomorrow night, meanwhile.

Rockers Maxwell Hammer & Smith will be on the bill at the Old Oak pub in Arlesey tomorrow, while the Soul Man will be singing at Haynes Village Concert Hall on the same night.

Covers from the 1960s to the present day will be heard at the Coach & Horses in Stotfold tomorrow, when experienced duo Between Two play at the pub.
