Work is currently taking place on St Andrew’s Lower School’s second campus at the King’s Reach development, which will provide an additional 300 school places for the new development on land east of Biggleswade.

Now pupils and residents can see how the site is progressing 24 hours a day after developer Willmott Dixon decided to install the special time lapse camera.

Councillor Mark Versallion, Executive Member for Children’s Services at Central Bedfordshire Council, said: “The children must be excited to be able to see their new campus taking shape, step by step.

“This is an innovative way of stimulating the children’s interest in the project while also giving residents a chance to follow progress and all the milestones at the new campus.”

The campus is being built as part of Central Bedfordshire’s new school places programme and is due for completion in time for the 2015/16 school year.
