Match helps cancer charity

Potton Colts U16's welcomed Langford for a friendly at The Hollow last week for a charity match.

The game was in aid of the chosen charity of Potton Colts U16’s and U12’s which is Macmillan Cancer Support, with a voluntary £1 entrance and raffle, raising over £400 taking their total for the season over the £1,000 target.

The manager Roy Bloxham, thanked all who attended, especially Langford players and parents.

The game was played in good spirits and with excellent football by both teams with Potton Colts U16’s eventually winning 5-Nil.

Potton Colts U16’s who are currently 2 wins away from winning the league are sponsored by ACME Production Services. Roy also thanked Potton Utd for the great hospitality at The Hollow, allowing the U16’s to have the experience of playing at the ground and under the flood lights.
