Banishment or murder – Traitor-ish Night launched for Shuttleworth’s 2027 calendar
If you fancy yourself as faithful or traitor then a new event at Shuttleworth is a must for all fans of the BBC show.
All will be unveiled on January 8 when Shuttleworth kicks off its entertainment calendar with a Traitor-ish Night, a new event in which guests will take part in tasks, murders and banishments while enjoying dinner at Shuttleworth House.
It will replicate the theme of the hugely popular TV series, which is hosted by Claudia Winkleman and has created a generation of murder-mystery fanatics. The show has become the most-watched series on TV with the spin off Celebrity Traitors – currently being shown on the BBC – attracting even bigger viewing figures.
Looking ahead, Shuttleworth’s Events & More calendar features a total of 22 events across the year, from family fun days to evening entertainment and exhibitions.

From February 1 to April 4, a temporary exhibition, ‘In Focus: The Bristol Story’, will be running in the collection hangars, included in daily admission tickets. The exhibition will explore the history of the Bristol Aeroplane Company with key exhibits from the early years of flight into the First World War,
During February half term, Engineering Weekend will return, giving guests a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to restore, rebuild and operate one of the world's most extensive Collections of working vintage agricultural exhibits, veteran and vintage vehicles, and airworthy aircraft from the earliest days of flight.
Entertainment night specials will also feature two string quartet sessions on April 16. Visitors will be able to feel Bridgerton vibes as modern tracks are classically performed by a string quartet, and on October 8, 2027, the event will return with a music from the movies theme.
The Shuttleworth Fete (formerly Summer Fete) will take place on July 17, with the picturesque grounds of Shuttleworth House transformed into a lively hub of entertainment and fun for the whole family. Live music, fun fair rides and games, kids’ activities, and a craft and gift market will all be on the agenda.
Shuttleworth House has scheduled two of its ever-popular Murder Mystery nights, with a Valentine’s and Halloween special, following a sell-out of the 2026 versions of both events. Comedy Nights will also return for 2027. Shuttleworth’s Tribute Nights are also back on the schedule, with the popular ABBA tribute night set for April 2 as well as a new 80s throwback themed night on August 20.
Rhys Horan, Operations Manager, said: “In the last year, we have seen exciting developments across our Events & More calendar, and 2027 is no different. In particular, at Shuttleworth House, it is fantastic to have expanded our offering, meaning that we have even more high-quality evenings of entertainment for local audiences.”
