Infrastructure group completes sale of its Tempsford headquarters at ‘pivotal moment’ for village

An infrastructure services, construction and property group has completed the sale of its Tempsford headquarters at what it calls a ‘pivotal moment’ for the village.

Kier Property has sold Tempsford Hall, its former headquarters, and Lysander House, a site which has been let-out and occupied since 2022.

Kier Property says it will retain the land surrounding Tempsford Hall’s office building, which was constructed in 2005.

The programme, which identifies Tempsford as a priority intervention site, is the subject of a consultation, open until May 19.

A House of Lords Built Environment Committee has identified Tempsford as a ‘front-runner’ for a new town designation.

Kier Property says that the sites it has sold will continue to be used as office space, supporting local employment and contributing to the development of the community.

Group managing director for Kier Property Leigh Thomas said: “Having been custodians of Tempsford Hall for many years, we are pleased to complete this transaction at such an exciting time for Tempsford, as it gains national prominence within plans for a new town and the wider Oxford-Cambridge growth corridor.”
