Villagers only steps away from store in Southill

A SHOPKEEPER hopes to give her newly acquired village store a new lease of life.

Sue Richards has taken over the Southill shop. She reopened it on Thursday (July 21) under the name of Southill Village Stores and Tea Room.

Located on the High Street, the business will once again sell a full range of stock as well as serving homemade cakes, light lunches and drinks in the tea room. Shoppers will also be able to pick up an ice cream or a takeaway sandwich.

Sue said: “I’m opening at the moment but new lines will be turning up all the time and I will be increasing the stock every week. There will be a range of gifts and also newspapers and magazines.”
