Andrea lands a world gold
LANGFORD’S Andrea Jenkins won both her events to become World Champion in her age group at the World Masters Athletics Championships in Sacramento.
She won the F35 Weight with 15.42m, narrowly beating the French girl by 8cm. After a shaky start in the F35 Hammer she threw two throws over 51m, winning with 51.72m, a season’s best, beating her nearest rival, again the French girl, by over a metre.
