It was a good day at the office for the Blues. The first half ended goalless although they rattled the woodwork twice.

Just past the hour Tony Williams cooly beat the keeper from outside the box. Hanwell were thrown a lifeline when they won a penalty – but the spot kick was fired wildly into the car park.

Jevani Brown scored the second from the edge of the box on 77 minutes, and soon after Lewis Wilson wrapped things up as he beat his defender and slotted home.

It was also a good day for SSML Division One bottom side Arlesey Town Reserves - Jordan Leech-Levy and Craig Skelton scored in a 2-2 draw at Baldock Town.

Arlesey’s match against Rushden & Diamonds on Monday was postponed. They host Barton on Saturday.
