Pop-rock heavyweights Busted are the latest name to be added to Newmarket Nights which returns this summer.

The trio who have sold more than five million records, had two four-times platinum selling albums and had four number one singles are out of tour for the first time in 12 years, will play the racecourse on July 22.

The band said: “We’re really looking forward to putting on an awesome show at Newmarket this summer.

“Going to the races is such a great day out, we’re stoked to be joining the party and we’ll be playing a full set to close out the day, including the hits. Hopefully we’ll make a bob or two on the horses while we’re at it.”

Newmarket Nights will see a number of acts return to play at the racecourse this summer.

Organised by The Jockey Club Live, there will also be shows by The Corrs, Will Young, Little Mix and Tears at the venue.

There will be a pre-sale to customers at 8am on Wednesday, February 3.

Tickets cost £26 for adults and £13 for those under 18.

The Corrs play the venue on June 17, Will Young on June 24, Tears For Fears on July 29 and Little Mix on August 27.
