The Robin Hood, hauled by Tornado, was spotted on Saturday, August 13, and captured on camera by Peter Richards, who took pictures between Langford and Biggleswade.
Sunday saw the Cathedrals Express, hauled by the Duchess of Sutherland, and Peter once again took photos of the loco crossing Biggleswade common.

The Duchess of Sutherland, the first steam locomotive to haul the Royal Train for 35 years transporting Queen Elizabeth II on a tour to North Wales, was taking passengers on a day trip to York.
Peter, who lives in Langford, kindly shared his pictures with Chronicle readers and you can see them on our website.
