League is set to get going

CRICKET: The new Bedfordshire Invitation Saturday Cricket League is set to start at the beginning of May.

It has the backing of the Bedfordshire Cricket Board, which is currently discussing the possibility of it becoming the feeder for an ECB Premier League.

Having canvassed club’s the new league has looked to address the low standard of facilities in Bedfordshire’s municipal parks and the desire of members to be part of the main ECB pyramid system, with the opportunity for their clubs to develop at a higher level.

The Bedfordshire Invitation Saturday Cricket League boasts three divisions with a full fixture list and has replaced the Millman League.
