Waders boss wary of Leighton clash

Biggleswade Town boss Chris Nunn is wary of bogey team Leighton Town when the two sides meet this weekend, writes Mike Simmonds.

The Waders are in fine form going into the clash as their 1-0 win over Beaconsfield SYCOB on Tuesday night made it six successive league victories.

Leighton have lost their last three matches, conceding 11 goals in the process to sit 18th in the table, but Nunn said: “We drew with them earlier in the season and lost over there last year.

“They’re not a tream we usually do well against, it is a bogey team for us.

“It’s a tough, tough test for us, the pitch has a slope, they’re going to be wanting to beat us without a doubt.”
