Biggleswade opticians and audiologists supporting Diwali celebration

A Biggleswade opticians and audiologists are sponsoring a local Diwali celebration for the second time – and the team at Specsavers is inviting members of the local community to buy a ticket, pop along and celebrate the Hindu festival of lights with them.

The Radiance of Diwali will be held at The Weatherley Centre in Eagle Farm Road on Sunday, November 14.

The event kicks off at 5.30pm and runs until around midnight, and people attending will be treated to dinner, entertainment, music and dancing.

Over 200 people attended the last Radiance of Diwali in 2024 – when Specsavers Biggleswade was also the headline sponsor.

Kam Chana, ophthalmic director at Specsavers Biggleswade and Specsavers Biggleswade Sainsbury’s, says: ‘We’re really delighted to be sponsoring Radiance of Diwali again. It was a wonderful event in 2024, and we know it will be even better this time round.

‘Highlights include a three-course Indian buffet meal, Bharatanatyam and Bollywood dance performances, live music, and a DJ and MC. It’ll be a really vibrant evening celebrating Indian culture, and we’d love to see lots of people there to party with us.’
