Review: Potton Players triumph with Death at the Casino

What a terrific evening! Death at the Casino at Potton Hall for All was polished, entertaining and thoroughly professional in its delivery. Every performer inhabited their part with such confidence vigour and conviction and there wasn’t one weak link in the cast. What an achievement by the director Marcia Williams for getting such professional and non am-dram performance from everyone in this gifted cast.

The casino games beforehand were tremendous fun and really set the atmosphere for the evening. With the audience milling around the actors, who were at the beginning, creating a real casino,  running card games, crap shoots, baccarat and roulette wheel, whilst the punters played with the chips provided. The action unfolded before our very eyes like scenes from the godfather, one murder and then the bad guy got his come uppance. But who done it!

Tremendous congratulations to everyone involved: having come up from London to find such a thoroughly enjoyable production was a real treat!

It all ended dramatically with the audience having to guess who the murderer was, with the help of the private dick Sam Spade.

It was a great, great evening there are more shows planned do please go and see it!
