Reason for proposal: The purpose of this proposal is to improve safety for all road users and to reduce the likelihood of danger arising, as well as to facilitate the safe and efficient passage of traffic, including pedestrians. Specifically, the proposed waiting restrictions are intended to improve visibility for drivers at the junction of High Street and Chapel Drive.

Effect of the Order: To introduce No Waiting at any time on the following length of road in Arlesey:

1. Chapel Drive, both sides, from the junction with High street and extending southeast for approximately 11 metres.

2. High Street, west side, from a point approximately in line with the shared property boundary between No. 47 High Street and Arlesey Methodist Church and extending north-eastwards for approximately 29 metres.

A disabled parking bay on St Neots Road, Sandy.

1. St Neots Road, southwest side, from a point approximately 2 metres south of the common property boundary between No. 107 and No. 109, and extending in a north-westerly direction covering an area approximately 6.6m in length and 2.2m in width

High Street, Sutton, south side, from a point in line with the eastern boundary of no. 22 westwards, covering an area of approximately 6.6 metres in length and 2.7 metres in width. Please see plan for clarification.

To introduce a disabled parking bay on Sunderland Road, Sandy.
